When you go into some business – especially if you sell through web, of course you realize that the photo is one of the most important details. So that you display the product as faithfully as possible, not to distort too much, so that it is interesting and attracts attention, so that it emits positive emotions, to show how delightedly the product was made …
The fact remains that it is an art and should be entrusted to professional hands. But when you count, you calculate at the start of your business what will be the total cost of production, marketing, and what your finished product might be sold for, you try to eliminate spending as much as possible and do a lot of things on your own. At least for the start.
This is how we “fight” with photography and my son Jonas helps me with it. Just when we started the e-shop last year, he began to enjoy photography. He wouldn’t like it more than computer games, 🙂 but he likes to experiment with the camera from time to time. So we opened Google and tried to get as much information as possible about product photography for beginners. You can find everything on the web today. Of course, this is not the same as a professional college study, but perhaps even the information from the web might be enough to get started and then we’ll see.
We learn while driving, we try to improve, we are also inspired by photos of similar manufacturers. Soon we will have the first photos from a professional photographer too, already looking forward to those very much. 🙂 We will learn something and move on.
I have here some photos from behind the scenes for refreshment, amusement. These are rare and unforgettable memories for me. Have a nice weekend!
